Jake Hendricks, owner
He will be the one walking your yard.
When you call HD Landscape, you get Jake. He comes out, walks the property with you and tells you what he would do if it were his, including what is not worth doing.
The people who hire us care about their homes and do not want to babysit a contractor. They want it done right, by a crew that shows up when it said it would. In the Grosse Pointes most of our jobs start with a neighbor saying, ask Jake.
We have finished 200+ projects so far. The reviews are the part we are proudest of, because every one of them is someone who let us into their yard.
How we work
How Jake runs a job.
The owner shows up
Jake walks the property and gives you his straight advice. As Stephen D. put it, “The owner gave us some great advice before they started, and we listened to him.. and we are so glad we did.”
The estimate is itemized
Every estimate is itemized, so you see what each part costs before anything starts.
Clean is part of the job
Reviewers often mention how clean we left the job. Rob E. called that out before he got to the sod.
We say no when we should
We do not install sprinklers or aerate lawns, and big tree removals go to a tree company we trust. You will hear that on the first call.

This young man and his crew were nothing less than amazing. They just completed a big project for us.... his team of young men were so polite, professional, easy to get along with... They did a great job on our yard and flower beds. The owner gave us some great advice before they started, and we listened to him.. and we are so glad we did. …
